Tripp's 1st Birthday

Last Thursday was Tripp's 1st Birthday and we all celebrated on Saturday at his house. If you can't tell by the pic's, he had a good time. I never seen a kid smile for so long. I was getting grouchy because I was late for my nap but he wasn't.



Sorry I haven't posted for a while. I'm going through some big changes and they kind of took priority. I won't get into what's going on because it's personal, but things are getting better everyday.

Around town

 The moose have been around feeding on some of the younger trees. The weather has been nice for them lately. It's acting like winter again with some snow and tollerable temps.

I was just putting down the road when I noticed the mud flaps on this old trailer. I worked at B&C back in the day. They no longer exist, bought out several times over by the big guys. Every once in a while you see something to remind you of them.

Update on Mt Redoubt

Seismic unrest continues at Redoubt. Activity is still well above normal background levels. Nothing new to report -- seismic levels have again remained about the same over the last few hours.

AVO continues to observe potential activity with seismic, satellite and radar data. The volcano has not erupted.

An AVO observation flight this afternoon reported no sign of ash emission, but observed significant steaming from a new melt depression at the mouth of the summit crater near the vent area of the 1989-90 eruption.

The Aviation Color Code remains at ORANGE and the Volcano Alert Level remains at WATCH.
