4 seasons in 1 day

It started off snowing and then turned to rain. Then the wind picked up. In some places it was measured at 119 mph. Then the rain and wind stopped and the sun came out. Then it got up to 52°.

You've got to love the North. I remember my first days here in Arctic Bay when it went from Summer, to Fall, to permanent winter, all in the space of three days... In August!

Down here in southern california, there's just one season, HOT. There is definitely something to be said for the changing scenery of the north. It's beautiful, dave.

Seems like Mother Nature can't quite make up her mind. But then isn't that a woman's perogative...to change her mind!

Was that measurement of 119 mph at Bear Valley? We didn't get that at Glen Alps.

Clare - I do love it here, but sometimes .... :)

Robin - I look forward to the begining of every season. I just wish some of them would stay around a little longer, like summer. :)

Meggie - She can't make up her mind. We're getting a good snow fall today.

Trixie - I'm not sure. I heard it on the news but wasn't paying real close attention.
