Welcome back Sarah, now back to work

Well thank god the national elections are pretty much over. You never have the luck to see all of your candidates do as well as you wish. I do believe that the best will happen and we all need to support who's in office. The best thing that happened to Alaska is that we're getting our governor back.

In the short time she has been in office she has done more for the people of Alaska than anyone in recent memory. With oil down $40 a barrel she's going to have her hands full, but I believe she can handle the job. I've had the pleasure of meeting her in person and she has quite the personality.

West Chester Lagoon is under full reconstruction. They drained the lagoon so they can do the work shown here. It should be awesome when it's done.

The temps have been staying below freezing but we haven't got much snow at all. So repeat after me " Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!"

Let it snow on Dave. Let it snow on Dave. Let it snow on Dave.

Thus far, we've only had a couple of nighttime temperature dips below freezing, just enough to kill off everything in our garden, but it's bound to get colder sooner or later.

What's this? We have snow in PA and you don't in Alaska? That's not right!

Thanks Marvin! Yeah, you can count on it getting colder for sure.

Thanks Robin! It's one of my favorites from this year. I'll probably enter it in this years Fur Rondy Photo Contest.

Meggie, you better give us our snow back. I was wondering where it went. :)
