We didn't find beavers yet

Macy and I went down to the pond where we normally see beavers, but we've struck out the last two nights. We'll get lucky and get some photos. We just have to be patient. We did see muskrat and a belted kingfisher, both too fast for my camera eye.

 We did get to see some greater scaup in a pond near the dam. Some were diving and some were snoozing.

 There were about a half dozen. They were enjoying the sun either way.

Something tells me were going to be having more mew gulls soon.
