The trees they are a changing

The day started off raining, a little windy and a little chilly. It didn't matter, we needed to get away for a little while. Where were we going? We didn't have a clue, so we went to have breakfast at Peggy's and we would figure it out from there.

When we were done with breakfast, the sun was trying to come out towards Eagle River, so that's the way we headed. It sprinkled on and off for the rest of the day. We didn't let that keep us down though.

The colors are coming alive for sure. I don't think fall is going to last a long as it did last year. It usually is over in a few weeks and she's off to a good start.

We weren't the only ones out, but on days like this we stick to ourselves. We seem to find better places to shoot pictures that way also. There were people fishing, kayaking, having a BBQ, you name it. We weren't the only ones not letting the weather keep us from getting out.

The rain does help a lot with reflection shots also. Ruth sometimes gets a little too excited and tries to go on some risky trail or log. I told her I wasn't into busting my butt today though. So we kept to the safer trails and we got to see plenty.

We did find a used fixer upper that's probably good on gas.

G'day Dave,
Nice landscapes, and a nice balancing act on that mossy log. I hope we see some more of your Fall colours.
Regards,
Gouldiae.

What a handsome coach that must have been in its day! I would love to see it restored. Don't you need a project, Dave?
