Dusk at Potter Marsh
The sun is out almost 18 hours a day now. We had a gorgeous weekend, the temps were in the upper 50's and it was mostly sunny with just a little amount of clouds. You got to get out to enjoy it. So I decided Potter Marsh would be a great place to be.
As I drove past the sign that said the lot closed at 10PM and don't get locked in, I noticed it was 10:20PM. So I said what the heck. They can't lock this place up while it's so nice out.
Potter Marsh was alive with red necked grebes. The sounds were amazing and I was the only person there.
Others were getting ready for bed, but the sun was setting and there was some great light. Perfect for photography.
But I couldn't get that "Don't get locked in" out of my mind.
