1st snow of winter

We've been waiting and wondering. Well, without much prediction from the weather guys, we got 3 - 6 inches, depending on what side of town you live. Most folks were well behaved and were careful drivers. Of course, we all watched for the ones that aren't.

The fresh snow adds color to what was dreary Anchorage. We have a neat town. It's alive and lots of things have been happening. But the long fall without snow was getting depressing.

OK. I'll get out there and get some more.

For those of you who want to see more of my photographs, I've been posting to SmugMug. Check them out and let me know what you think. There's a link to your right or go to davedorsey.smugmug.com.

Nice shots, dave. I especially like the bench with the shadows. Beautiful. Really great to see that first snow.

G'day Dave,
Nice stuff, gives the atmosphere well. Just gone through a record heat wave for November down here. Not looking good for the summer fire season - again.

So glad you folks up north appreciate a fall snow. Not sure I'm ready just yet. Instead we've been enjoying temps in the 60s. Helps getting those last minute yard jobs done.
